Australia finally has a third commercial network BACK IN THE GAME. This finale tonight has been extraordinary. Production value on this show is just next level. Nine and Seven should really take note.

Dancing With The Stars probably will return next year, because Ten seem to have nothing else.
Grant just said “see you next time” at the end of tonight’s show.
Amanda Keller did a great job at the big box live tv stuff. Her first real go at it and an absolute natural.
Would be a good candidate for I’m A Celeb/Voice etc…

Their live production quality makes me think Ten would be able to pull off an amazing x factor production if it ever returned to oz. But maybe that boat has sailed.

Nothing on Ten will be an instant hit in their current environment. HYBPA rated even worse when it started and look at it now.

Well aware of that, but everyone seems to think if you wave a magic wand things rate instantly. The fact is that’s not the case anymore. Nine has proved that with MAFS. I’m not saying dancing can rate as high as MAFS but with it set to be given another season and some top quality production value and genuinely believe you will see viewers start to make the change.

IMO Ten has always been at the top of the game when it comes to producing reality TV. Unfortunately, production quality has rarely equated to ratings.

Great show, great production values as usual on 10, wrong person won! I thought this was a dancing competition not a popularity contest.
All public voted reality shows are popularity contests. This is nothing new.

Samuel could have had two left feet and still would have won. It was a given from day one due to the Australian public embracing his charity and following his sisters story for years. Not the first time the best dancer hasn’t won eg Chris Bath being pipped by Ada Nicodemou.
