As good as Max Futcher is and he has been for decades, I remember his reporting on Melbourne’s record floods back in 2005 when he worked at Ten News Melbourne… He really needs to retreat fully back inside the room for the remainder of his live-crosses and stay safe. Getting dangerous out there

I saw him do a cross from the stairs at the front of their building on the GC. I went and streamed something. Came back an hour later and Max was back doing and saying the same thing.
He has still managed to keep his hair dry though. Only ‘braves’ the outdoors when filming for Instagram. Some bizarre stuff.

ABC News Channel continuing rolling coverage for the next hour - now airing on NewsRadio, and the ABC main channel in Queensland and NSW, hosted by Manny Tsigas from the Melbourne studios.
Following this, News Channel and ABC-TV NSW and QLD will be simulcasting overnight coverage from ABC Radio.
612AM didnt have the emergency alert sound at the TOTH just then.
