The Project would have been fine if it were any other day, but Rove’s turned Friday’s show into a different format to the other days, one that doesn’t value news.
Wonder how they’ll manage this tomorrow, is this separate to the national 90 min bulletin?

That’s what I thought, but ordinarily the weekend bulletin would go to 6:30pm local time.
Wonder what they’ll fill the last half hour in Qld with until weekend programming begins? 
Was any of the coverage he fronted broadcast to Sydney? Could make sense to have one presenter from Sydney and one from Brisbane. But that was only 5pm right, when Sydney was on 6pm News?
She has always been overly dramatic.

Strange… Melbourne just got an extended update with Angela Cox (looked pre-recorded) on HSV-7, complete with Sydney stories, “Sydney’s weather tomorrow” and a “as NSW braces for Cyclone Alfred” promo. During the first ad break at Half Time of tonight’s revised AFL season opener. Playout error?

Not sure if anyone in Sydney caught it, but Ange did a pretty rough and ready interview with a guy on South Stradbroke Island.
She asked him to describe the situation and he responded that it was ‘blowing its tits off’. Ange didn’t catch it, so she asked him to repeat himself, which he did. Was an ordinary person to interview, not sure how he made it on air.

Seven have abruptly ended AFL coverage, post game moved to 7mate including Melbourne. Main channel now taking Brisbane’s special with Usher and Blowers.
He welcomed “Victorian viewers after the footy”, but what about Nsw viewers (who also had special main channel AFL coverage for the Swans) where it’s probably more relevant?
Seven Sport watermark also still on, at least LCN 70 on HSV-7, probably until an ad break.
Not sure what happened to the movie that was nearing its end on 7mate, possibly paused and might continue later, though unlikely, a late movie was also scheduled (unless NPC Media playout sped up the ad breaks and timed it with 7AFL to finish at 10:30pm switch).
