Post NRL so live in Brisbane
Still reckon my mock would be a great idea:

Give it a couple days, it’ll happen
It was mentioned on The Project last night.
Apologies. I hadn’t heard it until I saw the report earlier. There’s a lot going on atm and hundreds of posts on all the forums. Hard to read everything.

Are we going to see the SEWS activated in Brisbane in the next 24 hours?

I think I heard Kelly the other night mention it was on the off chance Brisbane lost power.
When it moves from advice to alert is when they ask for the standard emergency warning signal. Usually within 24hrs of a cyclone due to cross the coast.
Information from the BOM then steps up to at least hourly.
However as seen in this screen grab from ABC News, it’s a bit alarming they can’t get their frequencies right.

Brisbane City had warnings on the digital display boards that they use in the inner city not sure exactly where. It was on 9 news.
Taree should say “756” although 95.5 can also be used around there. Missing on the list is 720 Murwillumbah.
Aren’t the ABC the dedicated emergency broadcaster?
Isn’t knowing the frequencies for times like this their job?

ABC Radio’s coverage at this stage is the same as yesterday’s, with national current affairs programs, and Conversations, not airing on local radio in SEQ, and ABC North Coast, Mid North Coast, and Coffs Coast getting shared mornings and drive programs along with Queensland’s Afternoons and Evenings shows. EPG currently lists Adam Stephen as hosting Overnight coverage from 12am AEST/1am AEDT (likely from the Cairns studio)
Adam is excellent at emergency coverage. Heard him last year when there were the weather events up north.

Given how often they have events like this the staff up there probably get a lot of experience
Coverage also taken across the North Coast NSW area last night. Not sure what time (if at all) stations went back to Overnights.
Looks like the ABC has fixed the frequency error based on screencaps posted by TV Cynic above.
