At what point does coverage become overkill. Is 10 reporters needed?

Yeah i do feel like there is little point to sending 85 crews out and doing rolling coverage BEFORE the storm. I get why theyve done it (audiences are huge atm), but the more they milk it the less they seem to actually have anything except BOM forecasts and some B-roll of people being dumped on by a wave.

Is this a news update from Melbourne?

Are 7 simply trying to counter 10’s Gogglebox & 9’s NRL?

Sure is

Seems like a full bulletin. In Brisbane it followed the 90 min 6pm news. EPG says until 8.30pm Brisbane / 9:30 pm AEDT.

Ah got it

Any idea when Seven is meant to end its coverage?

From the Nine Brisbane coverage, weather presenters are suddenly weather experts?

It’s a new approach by using Melbourne to host rolling coverage.

10 trying to trump this today by calling Pyrmont its ‘Met Centre’.

Lol what?
