They already do play big bash in the rain. It’s up to the umpire’s to stop play if they agree it’s getting too heavy.
Well done Watto, you still have the largest front pad of any cricketer I can ever recall.
Anyone else remember Shane Watson’s iconic “Oh no” moment?
Here’s a link to the video of it I found on YouTube - apologies for the bad quality.
He’s had a few of those where his shoulders just slump when he’s been given out, hit for six, dropped a catch etc… His body language was never a strong suit.
I still remember this special cricket “bat” that was designed for him on account on how often he was given out LBW.
We’ll miss Watto. Speaking as a Thunder fan of course.
BBL games to be played in Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and ACT.
Surprised no games at this stage in NSW - apparently we can host the WBBL, but not the BBL.
Why can’t Perth host games against Adelaide?
WA border restrictions mate!
Not come the start of the BBL. they have eased restrictions to everyone but NSW and Victoria
In that case:
TOO FUCKING BAD!!!
I am not complaining. That is another game I can go to. But it just doesn’t make a lot of sense they are hosting a game against Adelaide in Adelaide when Adelaide can fly to Perth without quarantining.
There isn’t any guarantee though
There isn’t really guarantee anywhere though.
So your point was?
My point is the border is open for WA. If they are doing hubs they might as well be including WA in those hubs. As long as teams aren’t going to and from NSW or Victoria Perth should be included. The no guarantee argument is irrelevant. WA is opening its borders on 14th of November. They haven’t flagged it as a potential opening. It is opening. There are no games in NSW or Victoria so I don’t see why they can’t use WA as a spot as well. The guarantee it has is the same as Tasmania has.
They will move to WA eventually, just be patient, others have had it much worse than you.
I am not from WA haha.
Just commenting on a fixture that doesn’t make sense.
Not really a defense for lazy fixturing. I am assuming this was planned before the border announcements. So hopefully Perth can still host Adelaide in Perth rather than in Adelaide.
