It’s a shame that it took a few gaps in the Triple M box for him to get a run - he’s very good
I’ve listened to Triple M’s commentary pretty well exclusively this season - they’ve pulled together a decent commentary team that would rival most of their competitors. Izzy Westbury has been a brilliant addition and Dan Ginnane has again shown why he is a great radio commentator.
I thought he was doing a few BBL games this summer on SEN, but I may be wrong, looks like he’s been freelancing fir the past year.

Alex Hartley was part of BBC Test Match special commentary team for the drawn Ashes test at the SCG last week. According to her Twitter, she would also call the fifth and final test in Hobart this week. I wonder if she will get a stint on ABC’s coverage?

What happens to big bash nation? No more radio coverage?
Seems to be none scheduled for the next couple of nights so would say that might be it for regular season coverage. I can see finals coverage being shunted onto secondary channels such as SEN Fanatic and/or SEN Track given they all clash with the Tennis.
According to SEN website, it will cover the BBL tripleheader today, the last day of the regular season.

For the Women’s Ashes test at Manuka Oval, Moore, Beams, Hartley and Moeran are joined by Sarah Elliott and ABC’s Brett Sprigg in commentary.
I think this is the first time in a while ABC Sports have not broadcast the BBL Final on the radio.
ABC Radio didn’t broadcast the BBL final last year either.

Yes, the previous rights deal gave them access to men’s domestic competition finals including BBL

ABC Radio commentary team for the second and third ODI of Women’s Ashes at Melbourne’s Junction Oval: Matt Clinch, Corbin Middlemas, Henry Moeran, Alex Hartley, Kristen Beams and Sarah Elliott.
Clinch and Middlemas replace Andrew Moore and Brett Sprigg from the Canberra leg of the series.
