COVID-19: Melbourne/Greater Victoria Re-Opens

One of the demonstrators who saw what happened went over to make sure he was ok. The guy then went into a shop and bought him a back of sanitised wipes so he could wipe the blood off his head.

Now seem to be going to Spencer St. The police will want to arrest some, however they seem to be outnumbered significantly here. Perhaps let them go home and chase them up later.

Do you think the Cops have undercover officers within this mob?

I wonder if the protestors will force Daniel Andrews hand to remove the two week ban if this is what we’re going to have to put up with for the next two weeks?

Probably just waiting until they tucker themselves out - treating them like the real tantruming children that they are.

Something tells me that Andrews doesn’t back down from a challenge.

Ah… no, no way.

No chance. These protests will likely fizzle out despite the claims from the usual RWNJs that they’ll be out there every day doing it.

Now the protestors are walking on the West Gate freeway outbound blocking traffic and lighting flares.

Let’s hope they stop soon for everyone’s sake.

Traffic reporter saying that traffic is at a standstill in either direction.

Don’t look at the comments on the sky news Facebook page about the assault that happened to Seven reporter, Paul Dowsley. Their comments are absolutely disgusting

Sky and 10 are the only one covering this which I think is astounding. There should be commercial networks at least streaming this on Facebook.

Was just as bad yesterday, practically zero MSM coverage until 7 went live later in the afternoon - the consequence is people following far-right, anti-vax streamers doing the job that media outlets should be doing

Don’t give them the airtime. They’re just walking aimlessly right now. I tuned out and got back to work hours ago.

Regional viewers can watch on Sky News Regional FTA of course.

Let me guess, they said more than “you deserve it”?

Not sure what the protesters will achieve by walking on the freeway?

Yes. Much worse than that.

Paul used to work for Austereo. He’s seen worse.

I think it’s important media cover it when they are on a major arterial of the city. They are blocking the Westgate and it’s a safety hazard to people driving on that freeway. You can’t just ignore it.

I agree don’t give these people airtime that is what they want.

So they made it to the top of the west gate bridge, so what now?

Probably more of a safety hazard for the fools taking a stroll in the middle of a freeway.

A long walk back to their cars.
