You’d hope so.

I was trying to be funny with the countdown clock.

All I have been told is that is what people are suggesting for those that call up about these fines.

Not exactly. Anything could happen from this point onwards.

Weddings, funerals and religious gatherings can also resume, subject to venue capacity density limits.

Weddings, Funerals, Anything.

and for those who was wondering why the police pso were there they were evetcting Avi Yemini

Good to see that so-called ‘journalist’ Avi Yemini was evicted from the press conference. That clown would have only been there to cause trouble.

NSW Health has announced that stay-at-home requirement for people who arrived from Victoria since midnight on Friday, February 12 will end at midnight tonight.

Queensland plans to lift its border restrictions for Greater Melbourne next Saturday (February 27), 14 days since the last confirmed local case in Victoria.

“Are you ready to take on the 4th Ring of Protection?”

I reckon the Victorian Government should’ve brought the end of the lockdown forward by six hours (6:00pm tonight), so that restaurants in particular can make their evening trade.

Yeah I thought the same thing. Going outside earlier it felt like people had just stopped following the rules already anyway. The local park had numerous big groups of people playing footy / soccer together and I barely saw anyone during my walk wearing a mask (although it is VERY hot today).

Coming from the hospitality industry, you can’t really reopen in six hours. You need time to order food, prep etc.

Sure they’ll have some stuff available - ie; frozen products, but many won’t have fresh produce. Many businesses get that in each day.

Many would’ve ordered this afternoon after the announcement was made knowing that they’ll reopen tomorrow.

There’s no comparison regarding peoples behaviour from this sharp lockdown to last years hard 4 month lockdown.

Over the past 5 days, it feels like most parks and beach’s etc have been completely busy. Part from businesses and schools being closed, there’s a large amount of people not following the rules.
