COVID-19: Discussion of Impact šŸ˜·

Krispy Kreme has dropped the campaign.

And which is too big a job to do in such a short space of time.

Youā€™d need to test everyone almost all at once, otherwise the virus could move between people in between tests.

How about a free box of Krispy Kremes with every COVID-19 test?

Better than free COVID-19 with a box of box of Krispy Kremes.

I have to say the vast majority of the population has been very good with volunteering to be tested.

Those who wait hours to get tested certainly deserve a box of Krispy Kremes.

Yes, but the demography of Krispy Kreme consumers closely matches that of the COVID-19 deniers.

donā€™t get too excited, sounds like the same headline and news that weā€™ve seen seeing for months, and will continue to see for at least a year to come.

The Nestle factory at Campbellfield in Melbourneā€™s north had been closed temporarily for deep cleaning after a worker tested positive to coronavirus. One wonders how could it happen given it has taken all the stringent sanitary measures available including a 2 metre social distancing rule?

Itā€™s 1.5 metres, isnā€™t it?

The worker most likely contracted it elsewhere.

The real issue will be whether this starts another cluster.

Seems the Victorian Government isnā€™t worried about that number. Suggesting they are pleased with the amount of tests and the current restrictions. They are expecting the number to go down in the next 7 days.
