Ah yes. Bold and The Beautiful and The Simpsons had to be classified G (due to them airing at 4:30pm and 6pm) which meant they had a lot of cuts. I think one of the reasons Simpsons kept getting replaced at 6pm was so it could air at a PG-friendly time (it aired at 7pm for a bit IIRC) but the show at 6pm always flopped and back came The Simpsons.
I remember getting the DVDs and seeing a bunch of things that werenât aired on the versions 10 would air that it can be quite jarring because I was so used to the edited versions.
As its been established with many guides posted here throughout the year especially from the mid-00s when they seemed pretty adamant of wanting to have something else stick to the 6pm slot.

Channel 7 showed a repeat of The Mole at 2pm over the summer non-ratings. IIRC, they aired old episodes dating back to 2001.

After 1218 episodes, the final episode of Number 96 airs on ATV0, four months after it aired in Sydney.
The next night would see another long-running series, ABCâs Bellbird, come to an end after over ten years.

Quite a heavy childrenâs schedule on Channel 7 with itâs Academic at 2Pm and 4PM timeslots.
Hey @Super_SC, got any listings from December 22, 2008?

The Morning SHow (on Seven) and Mornings with Kerri Anne (on Nine) didnât air during summer. Instead, Channel 7 showed a chockful of kids shows during the morning block. Over on Nine, they showed repeats of old sitcom shows. Only CHannel 10 showed the 9am Summertime series (which showed higlights of the segments during the year).
Channel Seven burnt off unaired episodes of The Rich List (hosted by Andrew OâKeefe).
As they would regularly do during school holidays or at least before Seven would switch to Tennis coverage in January.
30 Rock, Parks and Rec and Its Always Sunny in Philly on Seven, all critically acclaimed shows, all in late night slots. Parks and Rec shouldâve aired after Whacked Out Sports, followed by Philly. Private Practice should air at 9:30.
Seven had a tendency to do that as did Nine (see how they treated The West Wing)
What did they do with The West Wing in terms of timeslots? I know they sold the show to Aunty in 2004.
Pretty sure it was 10:30pm or later, Pretty sure there are guides from the early-00s that have it on Nineâs schedule. The Sopranos got similar timeslots but given the content itâs a bit more understandable the latter timeslot and even then I would expect Nine to do some heavy edits.
The Apprentice should have aired at 8:30 with Curb Your Enthusiasm at 9:30, rather than airing repeats.
Should have aired at 8:30 like ABC had done after Nine gave away the series. Sopranos shouldâve aired 9:30 or 10:00 on Monday Nights. Did West Wing air Mondays or Wednesdays?
Off the top of my head Iâm not sure perhaps Tuesday or Wednesday.
Tuesday nights.
If Alias was a new episode, it should have aired at 9:30. The Wire should have aired at 10:30 before Nightline. Nightline could have aired at 10:30 with Wire at 11 and Outrageous Fortune at midnight.

[/quote]THey had The Wire as well? So Nine had the 3 most acclaimed dramas of the 2000s all at the same time and gave them all terrible time slots. Thatâs quite an amazing feat.
Ten gave it a much better slot when they picked up the series from Season 2 in the 2007 non-ratings. At least the Friday episode got a decent slot, THey aired it on Sundays as well and it got a slightly earlier slot than what Nine gave it during the 2006/7 non-ratings.
Well The Wire also moved to ABC late in its run, but they put it on ABC2 and in a late night slot i believe. Go! may have also aired it.
