Canberra was one of many cities to carry SBS on UHF28.
was Celebrity Ready Steady Cook a one-off special?
Apparently, a regular series since it’s listed in a guide that was posted a couple of days ago. I guess that was 10s post-Big Brother show for 2005.
How well did it go in the ratings?
Uninterrupted coverage of the Athens Olympics on Seven.
3pm on 7- Time for Terry featuring Olivia Newton-John.

Channel Nine Perth even aired the full episode of Australia’s Naughtiest Home Videos during that night.
According to Wikipedia, even the re-run was censored with portions of Mulray’s monologues being cut as they were deemed no longer acceptable.
Nine aired it that night as a one-off special.
This was the first and only time the full video ever aired.
It’s 30 years ago next month since the show was yanked off the air by Kerry Packer midway and didn’t return almost 16 years later
The re-run was cut to fit the “M” classification standard
I feel sorry for Bert Newton having to host it.
Interesting to see the Premiere of Breaking Bad highlighted in the Pay TV section - an eight month delay from the US and a couple seasons before it really took off.

Noticed that TEN Morning News was shown on WIN.
Back then The Brady Bunch was shown on Nine, due to WIN owning NWS and STW. Brady Bunch was put on as a lead-in to news across the entire WIN Network including Perth and Adelaide.
No wonder Ten News was coming 2nd in Perth for years.
Yep. Unlike Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, Perth viewers DESPISED Nine. It was basically the forbidden channel.
However I think ABC News came 2nd, with Ten coming 3rd and Nine 4th. Seven came 1st as everyone knows.
