Wasn’t aware of that one. I know 9 ran The Brady Bunch a couple of times in an afternoon slot once in 2002 and then again in 2007. It the ended up going in and out of the Eleven/Peach schedule.

I think The Brady Bunch got a run on Ten at 6pm towards the latter part of 1995, after Echo Point was tried and failed in the same timeslot.

Only the WIN stations (including Nine Adelaide & Perth, then-owned by WIN) aired The Brady Bunch at 5.30pm in 2007.

The 2002 airings would’ve been a Nine Network thing though, as I do vaguely remember The Brady Bunch and Happy Days briefly airing in an afternoon timeslot on TCN Sydney sometime in/around that year.

i thought it was later in the 90s that 10 had Brady Bunch at 6? wow i guess i can remember from before 96

They aired Happy Days in 2003. Also, I think 10 aired that at 6 pm around 1999 or 2000 as well. Or at least I remember it being aired on 10 briefly around that period.

Didn’t realize that was a select market thing. I watched those reruns when they aired. They sadly dropped them after the second season though.

They also gave Judge Judy a go in the slot not long after that.

I remember that, Had it been on Australian TV before that or was that the actual premiere of it in Australia?

Judge Judy had debuted in daytime before it was tried at 6.00

To be precise, Ten debuted the series at 1pm on Monday August 4, 1997.

As far as I can tell, the 6pm run of Judge Judy lasted about 11 months: Monday February 15, 1999 until Friday January 14, 2000. Repeats of Fran Drescher (“The Nanny”) took the place of Judge Judith Sheindlin on Monday the 17th.

The Nanny was a summer staple for 10 in the late-90s into the early-00s (filling the Neighbours slot)

Ten often gave the Simpsons a break (at 6pm) over the summer period. The Nanny, Mash and The Brady Bunch were summer fill ins.

The Simpsons returned to the slot once Neighbours launched at the beginning of the year.

Chocolate, Raspberry, Chocolate Malt, Pineapple, Strawberry

That’s a strong lineup. New episodes of Becker and Everybody Loves Raymond, then a MICF great debate and Rove. I would have been tuned to Ten until bedtime.
