I’m not a huge fan of TV2 between 1980 and 1986. The programming just seems off. Like a slightly superior version of TV3 today.

TV2 South Pacific Television


Within months of launch, the TV2 South Pacific Television signal was extended to the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. Viewers in Wellington had to wait until November 1975 when TV2 began broadcasting to the capital city.

I agree TV2 was a more of a boring channel in the 1980s until they changed it up 1987 to focus on younger audiences and made the channel cool.
