One of the best on-air presentation after a few years of the dots being spheres. It lasted until September 2002 when the 9 dots reverted back to spheres with the famous “7 colours for 7 days package”

Slight correction with the airdate: It’s actually from Friday February 16, 2001. The 17th of February (and indeed, March + November too) was a Saturday that year!

For the “How lots can change in 18-19 years” files, it’s mildly interesting to note that the Rooster in the third last cap of that NRL promo is now a regular commentator/presenter of Nine’s football coverage!
