Here are the WTV One idents (IDs) using Microsoft PowerPoint. PTV Network New Zealand, in conjunction with Kordia and JDA with support from Lotto New Zealand, will, in future, expand Freeview’s UHF coverage to about 95% of the population as Freeview itself does not manage transmission and cannot extend UHF transmission coverage. In real life, Freeview’s UHF signal is available to about 86% of the population.
The WTV One Christchurch signal broadcasts via the Freeview UHF service from the Sugarloaf transmitter. Viewers in the West Coast (Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika, in particular) and South Canterbury (Timaru, in particular) will be able to pick up WTV One Christchurch via Freeview UHF (from the Mt Rochfort, Paparoa and Cave Hill transmitters, with Mt Mary and Mt Studholme serving as supplementary transmitters).
The WTV One Dunedin signal broadcasts via the Freeview UHF service from the Mt Cargill transmitter. Viewers in North Otago (Oamaru, in particular) and Clutha (Balclutha, in particular) will be able to pick up WTV One Dunedin via Freeview UHF (from the Little Mt Ida and Kuriwao transmitters).
The WTV One Northland signal covers the entire Northland region, including Whangarei, and broadcasts via the Freeview UHF service from transmitters in Parahaki, Horokaka (Central Northland), Hikurangi (Kaikohe and the Bay of Islands) and Maungataniwha (Kaitaia/Far North).
The WTV One Queenstown signal broadcasts via the Freeview UHF service from the Queenstown and Peninsula Hill transmitters. Viewers in the Central Otago area (Alexandra, in particular) will be able to pick up WTV One Queenstown via Freeview UHF (from the Obelisk transmitter).
The WTV One Tauranga signal broadcasts via the Freeview UHF service from the Kopukairua transmitter. Viewers in Rotorua, Reporoa and the Eastern Bay of Plenty (Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki, in particular) will be able to receive WTV One Tauranga via Freeview UHF (from the Pukepoto, Paeroa Range/Waikite Valley and Putauaki/Mt Edgecumbe transmitters).
