At a bus stop opposite Newtown station they have spent a lot of money branding a bus stop with the new Doritos flavours. The top of the Bus stop has a neon sign with the “Now Serving“ lit up brightly and the posters on the side and back of the bus stop.

Maybe a local could take a photo. It’s next level bus shelter advertising.

When I saw Furphy’s full page ad in the Herald Sun last week telling people not to invite friends over for a drink, I though it was very unusual.

They should have launched an app so that you can have a drink with friends online.

RIP Vegans & Vegetarians. Maccas might as well have put out a candle that smells like 100% fresh asparagus.

Cadbury is changing its logo from the one used since the 1960s to one that is closer to the one used from the 1920s. The Dairy Milk logo is also changing. Australia is the first country to roll it out from next week. Old logos vs new logos:

The change will take a while to get used to but TBH it doesn’t look too bad.

Yes, I think the Cadbury logo change isn’t much different and I like the new Dairy Milk font. Looks great. I also really like the image of the chocolate inside the pack. That is so much better.

Tried these weeks ago, I thought they were a bit meh. Reminded me of when you eat an ice cream that’s been sitting in the freezer for 12 months.

Cadbury chocolate has been rubbish for years. A block of Cadbury used to be the ultimate Friday night treat when I was growing up but It just doesn’t taste the same now. I can stomach the Cadbury variety of smaller bars if it’s the only thing available but the Dairy Milk on its own is meh. I’d prefer to spend extra and get a quality product. Do yourselves a favour and try Whittakers.

Don’t get me started on the downsizing and glass and a half motif. Professor Julius Sumner Miller used to advertise with the phrase “a glass and a half in every 200g block”. The blocks haven’t been 200g for years and their products continue to shrink but still use that motif.

Wonder if they’ll shrink the size of the block again to celebrate.

I guess the glass has also got smaller.
