It was pretty much, there was a mild VF Series II update in late 2015 being the last one ever for the locally made Commodore.

I’m certain that VF SV6s and V8s will become collector’s items in the not too distant future. They are great cars.

Would you prefer Gwyneth Paltow’s candle?

Depends where you put it.

Going from being Japanese owned to being Chinese owned quite clearly shouldn’t be a competition or foreign ownership issue.

Lots of tax dodging in Mengniu. It’s registered office is on Grand Cayman and so is the share registry. Head office is in Hong Kong, though most of the Chinese operations appear to be in Inner Mongolia.

Just on Holden, ABC News will have a 30-minute special this Thursday (February 27) about the demise of the car brand. Holden: The End of the Road will premiere at 7.30pm and will be repeated at 10pm on the main channel.

The thing that surprised me most in that article was the listing of America’s three most popular beers (being Guinness #1, Heineken #2 and Corona #3).

I always thought Budwesier was their most popular, and thought Miller might be up there too.

(I see on the YouGov rankings, Budwesier is #5 and Miller is #8).

That’s because people want to drink piss, not shit.
