My partner imports all the English chocolate (Cadbury and the like) and I honestly don’t see the fuss. Alrhough sometimes I wonder if the shipping and time it takes to get here comes into play.
I didn’t even know Hershey made a US version of Cadbury. When did they start doing this?
Hershey have had the Cadbury license in the US since 1988.
According to them their version of Cadbury Dairy Milk is not all that different but that’s a load of bs. It is very different and not in a good way. There are plenty of blind taste comparison videos on YouTube which can back that up.
I get that they had the right to protect their deal but the amount of expats who want the real thing would be a fraction of their overall market. It wasn’t worth the attention they gave it and it achieved nothing for them.
No one who has eaten the real thing wants the Hershey version and they will still find ways to get it themselves like I did. And Hershey don’t even make or sell most of the Cadbury line anyway.
Needless to say I have an immense hatred towards them after they did this. Sell the real thing and I’ll buy it. Otherwise stay out of my way.

Cooongrats to him I guess. Seems a bit of a reach. $100K when they pulled the 6 second spot immediately once they were informed it may offend.

Not a fan of mixing sweet with savoury.
Magnum Sunlover is coconut flavoured ice cream, with a mango and passionfruit ice cream swirl and sauce, covered in thick cracking white chocolate with crispy coconut inclusions .

Aussie? Sara Lee is an American company.
Different companies, the Aussie company uses the Sara Lee brand under licence, however I thought they’re actually New Zealand owned but made in Aus.
