Someone missed it…
Apparently it is still used as the logo in some markets, it has not been wiped out.
Looking here (and the different country sites)- https://www.mccain.com/information-centre/mccain-foods-worldwide/ - not many but it is also still used on that global corporate site.
Not sure when this will roll out to Australia

I don’t mind the retro shape of the red, white and blue but I dont like the BOLD font in capitals. The lower case letters look fresh and modern.
They would be mad to drop the Pepsi Max name. That has worked for them and would be hard for people to call it something else. Maybe they will still call it Pepsi Max but have Zero Sugar on the can.
I just did some research. It seems Pepsi Zero is used in America but every else outside America it is called Pepsi Max. So it is unlikely to change.

Nothing will ever be as iconic.
I just tried my first can of A&W Root Beer to see what all the fuss is about.
The flavour is very familiar and it took forever for me to realise it tastes like bloody mouth wash.
Precisely why root beer is rarely marketed in Australia.
It’s odd that Sarsaparilla is common enough, but Root Beer, which to me is basically a weaker version of more or less the same taste, is import only. I’m a fan of both personally.
Nothing beats a cold Portello.

Root Beer is great, whenever I’m in the states having it on soda machines is awesome.
