Nope tried that the boxes have nothing displayed they just kind of fade in and out.
I have sent them an email, there is a glitch somewhere.
I’d have thought that putting the Sky News stable of channels on there would be fairly reasonable. Foxtel really shouldnt be trying to chase a particular demo with the service as a whole
Is it just me or are the linear channels not there on Apple TV’s app?
Where do you find the linear channels
many thanks
Only had a quick look so far, but the app looks great on Android TV. Is there a simple way to get to the linear channels? I eventually found them buried down in the TV section somewhere but can’t remember how I got there…
That would be good. I’m hoping there’s more to the shared login than back-end simplicity.
I finally got it to log in by using google instead of explorer and when i set everything up everytime i click on a show it came up with an error report… needless to say i canceled my subscription… I will stick with Fetch, least that works!
Linear channels are in the Shows category at the bottom of the carousels.
Sign up for me was a breeze. Detected I had a Kayo account and used same payment details.
How much shorter? If it’s 4% shorter then it’s due to pal speedup.
Edit: I’ve signed up and it’s definitely PAL speedup. Not necessary on a streaming service but all their content comes from the linear channels where PAL speedup is required.
Under the shows tab and scroll right down to the bottom there’s a row once you select a channel you can bring up a menu which has them all
I can’t wait for a Kodi plugin to be released so we can have an EPG for these channels, just like the Kayo Kodi plugin.
Legend. Thanks. Found them.
That’d be ideal. I’ve just downloaded the My Foxtel app again and set up the Guide favourites with those channels.
Pressing “up” three times on the Shows menu seems the quickest way to do it. Odd that it’s not one of the top level menu options though.
It’s all part of their plan to provide them contractually but not let you enjoy them, just like Kayo. But I’m glad they’re there in some capacity. I like having something on in the background when I’m working on stuff.
The first episode of Belgravia was shown on BBC First at 7:30 Monday night. It available for catch-up on Foxtel Now and on Fetch, but it is not on Binge.
A pattern is already emerging that the latest episodes are not appearing immediately to stream on Binge. Flack S2 E1 and Belgravia S1 E1 are on Foxtel Now but are not on Binge at the moment.
I assume they will go up when the whole season is ready for you to “binge”
Looks very good actually
BBC earth and CI linear channels have now appeared, they weren’t there yesterday when I looked
