I had a look on big brother on 9, but they clearly pushed the show too young. Can’t do that on a major commercial network !
Also, most of the reality contestants are not young, so again a mismatch between the young host Sonia and the older housemates !

The TV Tonight article says “Endemol Shine Australia has not confirmed the network late today.” and “As of yesterday no contracts had been signed at Seven, until Nine’s rights expire”.

Would a show like an Australian version of Big Brother be allowed on a channel like SBS Viceland?
Why not? However, I doubt SBS would waste that obscene amount of money on a show that would be seen by so few on SBS Viceland.

If Seven decide to adopt a full US format I predict that BB will be an even bigger potential flop than it is now. The rejection of Celeb BB US last year on 9GO should have shown Seven that.
