In all seriousness Celia was a really good suggestion. I think she would be brilliant.

I also think Gretel thrived in this job and I think the suggestion of Courtney Act is a good one as well. I don’t think 7 would go down the route of Celia or Courtney though. I could possibly see them going back to Gretel.

Maybe get Westfield on board as a major sponsor and put the house inside one of their shopping centres? Would increase public engagement.

Seven are hardly going to give her the hosting gig when it’s entire reason for reviving BB is to attract a younger audience.

That sounds more like the US version. It’s basically attached to the studio and there’s no windows or anything inside the house.

Maybe they are going more the US direction and we shouldn’t just assume that Big Brother means that it is going to be the show that we know. There is no public voitng in the US on evictions. It is people living together but other than that a completely different and very strategical show. I would actually commend Seven if they bring that version and title it something like “Big Brohter: Head of Household”.

Courtney Act has won Celebrity Big Brother too in the UK. I’m not sure Courtney is the right fit for this show though as a host.

Go cheap and save your money, Channel 7, to get the next Ashes off 9, and eventually the NRL, then all your ratings worries are over lol

The UK version was also in a studio wasn’t it? I don’t think that really matters too much. I think the show had a lot of hurdles being based in Dream World.

Both my boyfriend and one of my best friends are already saying that they want to audition. facepalm

The UK version is directly connected to where the eviction audience is but that is outdoors so I’m not sure if it’s at a studio or not. If it is it doesn’t feel like it as the house layout is very like Australia with windows and a big backyard etc. On the US version it feels like they are on a television set with rooms closed off from one another (to allow people to strategise) and you don’t really see any natural light in the house. Plus they walk out straight into a television studio with an audience.

Still got Melissa Doyle as the most likely next host, Gretel and Zemiro have never pulled an audience on 7. Zemiro is nice, Gretel is fun, Doyle is both fun and nice and approchable.

I’ve got Big Brother on 7 to go after MKR, so in Q2, during Easter (if its possible to get it up and running) !
