Big Brother

They could convert the food court into a kitchen area.

Live feeds should be just that. The only editing/cuts should be for legal or classification reasons so the feed should be broadcast on a ~5 minute delay.

Iā€™m pretty sure that in the past that live streaming was either 15 minutes at a time of PG streaming or paying for uncut streaming plus video on demand.

I support paid streaming for uncut content even though the infamous turkey slap incident was only seen on said uncut streams. No doubt that the original streams were on a delay but even though Camilla said that ā€œI was just turkey slappedā€ she never really complained (not to diminish any idea that she could have sexually assaulted).

I believe that the current Costco site will turn into a distribution centre once the new site opens.

The announcement of Mel Tracina hosting BB in 2025 was discussed on The Cheap Seats tonight, and warmly received by the studio audience.

EDIT: the video

Our very own Mel Tracina will be hosting the new series of #BigBrotherAU! šŸ‘ #CheapSeatsAU

Will be very interesting to see what is considered a good return on investment here for 10. Itā€™s an expensive show to produce given the live factor and tight turnaround. No mean feat in a complex tv landscape. Ultimately there were reasons it was cancelled by 10 and 9 in the past (letā€™s just leave the 7 seasons aside) so I am genuinely interested in what a 2025 audiences makes of it cos it canā€™t purely rely on the nostalgia

Mel was on the Nova podcast and doesnā€™t think Uncut will return.

I guess you skimmed over this bit then:

A ā€œhold backā€ effectively prevents negotiations commencing with another broadcaster, ā€œuntil the day after the hold back finishes. You canā€™t start production in the middle. You canā€™t be casting, you canā€™t be announcing hosts. You canā€™t be announcing deals,ā€ an industry source said.

@JPA It makes it really hard to follow the conversation when you delete posts like that. Now my reply makes no sense. You can just leave it there you know. You donā€™t have to delete it.

Seriously, 7 need to get the fuck over themselves.

I thought you meant Seven should go and F themselves

Meanwhile, Seven says theyā€™re losing money and need to cut down to survive, yet send these sort of petty letters threatening legal action amongst other things that arenā€™t worth anyoneā€™s time?

No wonder why itā€™s the downfall of Seven.

Shit reality shows that canā€™t rate well, toxic workplace in the newsroom and now this? :skull:

7 doing this to 10 is something I never thought would be on my bingo card for 2024ā€¦ the times are changing

A contract is a contract. If the shoe was on the other foot, Iā€™d expect the same.

Didnā€™t this happen when Seven took the rights from Nine?

I donā€™t think so

This is true. Itā€™s just a shame that in an era where their industry is dangerously close to RIP, these things still happen. Almost childish
