This looks more interesting than Vip but i somehow expect 7 to stuff it up. I keep watching somehow…Vip was so bad i cant recall a single person on it or who won lol.

The latest promotion is odd. They’re showing footage of 10 and 9 era BB to promote the returning housemates. And the footage they show is so much more fun than what 7 has done, especially with the live audience in the recordings

I think this show is now dead and I doubt it’s going to rate above 400k.
Shame as 7 actually started off quite well with the BB franchise, did enjoy the first season they did, now they seem to have just played with it too much .
Are they going to run with the narrative that Tim could be the world first two-time Big Brother winner, even though like most of their other “world firsts” that wouldn’t be true.

I think it will start strong with viewers of the original series tuning in for the likes of Reggie but whether it can retain viewers will be the issue.
I have tuned out very quickly from the 7 series each year because it has felt like Survivor played in the backyard and it has been over produced. I also find Sonia Kruger robotic. She lacks the interview skills of Gretel who could think on her feet and reacted to contestants responses, delving deeper rather than relying on an auto cue.
The best moments of BB have always come from people lounging about chatting, forgetting the cameras are around. Seven haven’t figured that out.

I totally agree. I always felt this interaction made the show.
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to the show and can’t wait to see the Royalty in action. I really hope I’m not going to be disappointed.

Similar to the new season launch of The Voice last month, Seven will show the first five minutes of the new season of BB tonight at 7.30pm across its main channel, 7TWO, 7mate and 7flix.

Bloody hell, I started to tear up when the four housemates met up!
I did too
I switched off after the first 10 minutes. The clips they played of the old Channel 10 and Channel 9 series, just reminded me how much the 7 version sucks.

And half an hour in until the first ad break began, which is great.
The four originals mingling together was enjoyable to watch too.
The fake crowds annoyed me though. And the gimmicks of whats to come annoys me too, and showed how much i missed the original seasons of BB and how tacky the recent seasons are.
