Big Brother

I thought they were sent home for a week?

He was quite critical of the show on the podcast until he pitched to Endemol if he could view the episode early. Last week, he was praising it until Rob challenged him. I thought something was odd… seems they granted him early viewing.

That is a great sneak peak. What the hell, why are they only rolling out the good promos now? Less than 24 hrs to go.

Decent promo tonight. I’ll give the show a crack but I feel I’ll drop off, hope I’m wrong.

Let’s hope that whatever is coming up after the sneak peaks will be just as good. Otherwise they would’ve invested in this for nothing.

I don’t think it will go that high. There seems to be no hype for the show.

I would say 750k with around 250k being in the 25-54 demo.

I think it will be very lucky to pull 700k up against juggernauts Masterchef and The Voice.

There is absolutely no buzz around BB from what I’ve seen. The promos have been awful and Seven have had very little eyes in 2020.

250k in 25-54 Puts it way below something like Paramedics and about on par with the pooch perfect launch

I think it Will do better than that

And likewise some people on here, see a 4 minute add and despite months of negative comments decide oh this looks so good I think im going to watch it now it looks so good.

Not directing this at you. But what happened to not judging a "book by it’s ā€œcover?ā€

lol.

I’m predicting 800k total people, at least. In the last couple of days, there has been a heap of hype.

800k

So 3rd in slot in total people and 25-54 people think?

650k total, final answer.

I’m thinking around the 920k mark on Monday
850K for the following night.

whatever it gets on Monday, i think it will be a grower, especially with promos during AFL next weekend.

I feel like there is appetite for a break in the rotation of cooking/renovating/dating/singing. The target audience are not watching 7 at the moment to see the promos, and might not show up on Monday but will come.

i’ll say 700k on Monday, 950k the following week.

The day before the show launches and still the main selling point seems to be it was shut down briefly by Coronavirus. Seems to be the only thing going for it.

BB Canada though was playing out in real time - houseguests were slowly being drip fed information as it was unfolding in the world around us and the final shows were aired just as the country was entering lockdown.

BB Australia is airing three months later just as Australia is on the other side of the initial lockdown at least. Also worth remembering their constant ā€œlook at us, we were affected by coronavirusā€ has nothing to do with the housemates either - it was a crew member. Frankly Seven trying to use is as a hook to sell the series is pretty sick really.

Past housemates appearing on Sunrise this morning

Yeah I’m predicting around 700k.
