CLARISSA – TANDOORI ROASTED LEG OF LAMB WITH CARROT & ORANGE SLAAD

When the temperatures start to plummet, there’s nothing better than sitting down to a good old roast…and this week, Clarissa’s serving up one with a difference. She’s making a roast leg of lamb, Indian style. Marinated in an easy homemade tandoori paste and served with a delicious carrot, orange & fennel salad, the humble roast just got a spicy upgrade.

DR HARRY – SHRIEKING CAVOODLES

There’s nothing more special than the relationship between a man and his dogs. But when those dogs love you so much, they shriek, bark and totally fall apart when you arrive home, then it’s time to call in Dr Harry! He’s been asked to help Jeneane and her husband Mark, who adore their cavoodles, Bella and Teddy. But every time Mark returns home, it’s complete and total bedlam. Jeneane is convinced it’s because the dogs have formed an extreme attachment to Mark…and they’ve tried everything they can think of to stop the dogs shrieking, but nothing works. Can Dr Harry work out what’s behind this canine cacophony?

JULIET – CHIC CHINOISERIE CABINET

Dearest readers, it is with great delight that I can announce the return of a long-forgotten decorative style, which has become the belle of the ball this season. That’s right, chinoiserie is back! First popular in the 17th and 18th centuries, chinoiserie is a European interpretation of Chinese design and, thanks to the lush interiors of the period drama, Bridgerton, it’s back in fashion once again…and Juliet’s using it as the inspiration for her latest project. She’s transforming a bland and boring flat-pack storage cabinet into a Bridgerton-inspired Chinoiserie masterpiece using some wallpaper offcuts, wooden trim and a few craft hoops. You won’t believe the transformation…and all for a fraction of the price of an antique piece.

GRAHAM – FISHERMANS BAY GARDEN (AKAROA, NEW ZEALAND)

Nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano, Akaroa is New Zealand’s oldest French settlement – a charming harbourside village where the French flag flies above quaint bistros and bakeries. But just beyond the picture-perfect town lies something truly extraordinary. Fishermans Bay Garden is a stunning coastal masterpiece, blending untamed beauty with deliberate design. It’s the work of Jill Simpson, a landscape designer who was living in Christchurch when she met and fell in love with a dairy farmer, Richard, who already owned the property. Now, the husband-and-wife team live here full time and the garden they’ve created is truly one-of-a-kind. Graham’s meeting up with Jill and Richard for a tour of this stunning gem.

23RD MAY 2026

JOHANNA + PETE – AMAZING HOME: CREEK BED HOUSE

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a treehouse? This week, Johanna and Pete are visiting a stunning home in Brisbane’s Inner West which is just that! Named after the creeks which run below it, The Creek Bed House is built amongst the tree canopy, beautifully constructed with off-form concrete ceilings, a sunken loungeroom and an incredible solid granite kitchen island – which was so heavy, it had to be lifted in early in the build, and the rest of the kitchen built around it! But this stunning treetop location came with a unique set of problems – the site was so steep, it created huge complications for the builders and architect. The end result was definitely worth it though, and the home even won the Master Builders Brisbane ‘House of the Year’ last year. Join Johanna and Pete as they tour a home unlike any we’ve featured on the show before.

ADAM – DIVIDE & CONQUER ROOM DIVIDER

Open plan living is a mainstay of modern home design, but it does have its drawbacks. Open plan spaces can quickly become overcrowded and undefined, meaning it might look like you have lots of space, but it’s not being used to its full potential. So, this week, Adam’s sharing his solution. He’s making a solid hardwood room divider, which is freestanding – meaning it can be moved around to suit changing needs. Easy and inexpensive to make, it’s a great way to cosy up an open plan space without making any permanent changes.

COLIN – REUBEN SANDWICH

There’s nothing that says ‘New York’ more than a classic Reuben sandwich. But if you can’t afford a trip halfway across the world every time you fancy one, then Colin’s got a treat for you. He’s showing you how to make this deli classic at home, starting off with his homemade corned beef – cooked with wine, garlic and lots of herbs, then covered with a honey glaze. Served on rye bread with pickled cabbage and cucumber, Swiss cheese and a mayo-mustard-horseradish dressing, sandwiches don’t get better than this!

MELISSA – BLOOM INTO YOU FLOWER FARM

When you live just outside a country town named ‘Flowerdale,’ why wouldn’t you start your very own flower farm? That’s exactly what Tash and Hayden did when they created Bloom into You Flower Farm, where flowers are growing in rhythm with the seasons and the environment. The result is an explosion of colour all year round and the farm is truly an idyllic place to visit. Melissa’s meeting Tash and Hayden to learn more.

CHARLIE – MORE THAN JUST A LETTERBOX

No front garden is complete without a fabulous letterbox and this week, Charlie’s showing you how to make your own. He’s using recycled sleepers to create a rustic-look letterbox that’s so stunning, it’s a sculpture in its own right.

This week, Dr Harry’s meeting Daisy, a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo whose celebrating his 40th birthday this year. That’s right…Daisy is a he! And he’s very special to his owners, Sue and her daughter, Lauren. A few years ago, Sue sadly lost her husband, Bernie, the family member Daisy was closest to. Since then, Daisy has become very attached to Sue and shrieks whenever she answers the phone or tries to leave the room. Can Dr Harry convince Daisy to quieten down?

JOHANNA + PETE – THE MONTVILLE STUNNER

We’ve featured some stunning luxury homes on the show in the past…but this one might take the cake. It’s not just the home here that’s one-of-a-kind… the gardens are so stunning, Melissa couldn’t resist dropping by to check them out! She’s joining Johanna for a look around this stunning modern country-style garden, which was designed around a largely native plant palette. Native gardens don’t only look great, they support local wildlife, are more environmentally conscious and easier to care for, too. If you love the look, Melissa’s showing you how to recreate it at your place on a smaller scale. She’s mixing native and subtropical plants to create a potted garden which makes the perfect welcoming entry to your home – or your patio, courtyard, or balcony, too.

JOHANNA – THE MATER HOSPITAL, BRISBANE

Anyone who’s expecting a baby hopes their child will be born happy and healthy. But for many parents, that’s sadly not the case. In Brisbane, over 1700 seriously ill or very premature babies end up going through the doors of the Mater Neonatal Critical Care Unit each year. What they do here is absolutely groundbreaking and Johanna’s meeting up with the Director of Neonatology, Dr Pita Birch, to find out more.

CLARISSA – THE FALLS FARM WALKAROUND

A 10-minute drive from Montville, you’ll find the sleepy rural town of Mapleton…which just happens to be home to Queensland’s best produce. The Falls Farm is a family- owned business, run by Ben Johnston & Jess Huddart since 2013. On the 12-hectare property, they’ve established a market garden that specialises in seasonal and nutrient-dense fruit and veggies. By focussing on the health of their soil, they’ve been able to grow unique varieties of veg that are a cut about the rest…and Clarissa’s stopping by for a taste test.

Melissa’s sharing her favourite parts of this pristine rainforest paradise and introducing us to a few of its residents.

SATURDAY 30TH MAY 2026

DR HARRY – HEPHNER THE HELPING ALPACA

He may be named after the world’s most notorious playboy, but Hephner the alpaca is about so much more than that. Calm, curious and completely unphased, Hephner’s owner and handler, Robert, knew he was something very special. And so Hephner and Robert started to travel the country, raising money and awareness for mental health issues. Along the way, Hephner started working in aged-care homes and palliative care centres as a therapy animal…and he’s become Insta-famous! The joy, comfort and connection Hephner brings to everyone he meets is truly extraordinary and Dr Harry can’t wait to meet this very special animal.

ADAM – OPEN, NOT BROKEN, PLAN DIVIDER
When the space where you eat is also the space where you cook, work, watch TV and relax…it’s easy for your home to feel cluttered, undefined and overexposed. So how do you add structure and create defined zones within an open plan space? Adam’s sharing a stylish solution. He’s showing you how to build a permanent hardwood bookcase and surround which will not only add purpose to an open plan space, but plenty of storage, too.

CHARLIE – A STYLISH & FUNCTIONAL FAMILY GARDEN (UMINA GARDEN WALKAROUND)

In order for a family garden to perform well, it has to tick a lot of boxes. It has to be beautiful, of course, but it also has to be practical – with room for a veggie patch, a clothesline and outdoor amenities. And don’t forget space to park the car and for the kids to play. Sounds like a long list, but Charlie’s visiting a garden that has all this and more. He’s on the Central Coast of NSW to visit a modern masterpiece of a garden that totally reimagines the typical Aussie backyard. From a sculptural front entry complete with a floating driveway, to the resort-style pool, grapevine canopy and more, this garden is dripping with Mediterranean charm and really does have it all.

JULIET – AROMA STONES

We all love our homes and cars to smell nice, but home fragrances don’t come cheap! So Juliet’s showing you how to make your own aroma stones, which can be hung in your linen press, wardrobe or car for a lovely scent. Made with either air dry clay or plaster of Paris, this craft project is super inexpensive and easy enough to involve the kids. The finished stones look as good as they smell and are great to stockpile for those last-minute gifts.

Originally two properties, this clever building is now four distinct townhouses full of drama, geometry, and playful shapes. From a bold cylinder-shaped entrance to a breathtaking sandstone staircase, this renovation proves that curves and archways are officially back in style.

ADAM + CHARLIE – STEPPING OUT

Sometimes, the most unassuming areas of your home are the ones that could benefit the most from a refresh. This week, Charlie and Adam are teaming up to tackle just such a space: a dodgy old step off the back of a house. It could just be replaced, but by rethinking the space, they’re unlocking its true potential. They’re turning it into a stunning tiered deck, with a lounge area and lush gardens. It’s proof that, with a change in perspective and a little bit of vision, a forgotten space can become a big design moment.

COLIN – VEGETABLE BHAJIS

Colin’s sharing the most delicious way to get your five-a-day. He’s making Indian-style savoury fritters with carrots, cabbage, red onion and kimchi. Ellbie had squeezed through a gap on the balcony and walked nearly 40 metres around the structure…before getting completely stuck. While there is so much to love about the estate, when Jan Porter and her late husband first saw it in 2015, it was a single, magnificent topiary bay tree that stole their hearts. Since then, Jan has poured her passion for gardening, restoration, and antiques into the property, creating a one-of-a-kind haven that exudes country elegance at every turn. The White’s Seahorse is only found on the east coast of Australia, but due to human activity and habitat loss, its numbers have dramatically declined in recent years. Dr Harry’s meeting the research team bringing the White’s Seahorse back from the brink. Dr Harry is finding out more about their amazing work.

JULIET – RESCUED DRAWERS WITH A VIEW

One of the trickiest aspects of living in a small apartment and working from home is the lack of a proper office space, so having a dedicated area, even if small, is crucial. With that in mind, Juliet’s showing you how to make use of an unused corner of your home with an upcycled old set of drawers that she turns into a desk. Using off-the-shelf material, the hardest part of this project is matching the new desk to the room’s décor. So, if you think you have no room for a home office – you’ve got to watch this.

###COLIN – SLOW-COOKED BEEF CHEEKS WITH COUSCOUS
There’s nothing tastier than slow-cooked beef…except the couscous it’s served with, if you ask Colin. He’s slow-cooking beef-cheeks in a flavoursome broth of red wine, star anise, thyme, and veggies until it’s melt-in-your-mouth tender. The leftover broth is then used to cook the couscous - and it tastes so much better than traditional couscous. Served with mustard, parsley, mint and capers, this dish is easy, delicious, and guaranteed to impress.
