Yep.
The 1995 Logies were on Seven, but aside from that Nine have had them all since 1994.

In other words, they have been on Nine since 1996.
Thatâs good, I might watch it when they decide to post it on 10Play. They didnât mention any of these tributes on their Twitter today. Iâd have thought it would have been a no-brainer for clicks and engagement.
Is there a replay anywhere or the GMA reunion?
Should bring GMA back!
Probably wouldnât work without Bert. It centered on his charisma and abilities. Now it would just be pathetic.
Agreed. While there are obviously still talented people fronting âall three mid-morning programs, the overall content of The Morning Show, Today Extra and Studio 10 is rather pathetic these days. Then again, what can you expect when stay at home mums are probably the target demographic for these shows?
Iâd also imagine that if Bert didnât leave GMA (and Ten) when he did, the network may have eventually axed him/the show in favour of a mid-morning program that appeals more to SAHMs.
Whatâs wrong with being a stay at home mum?
I thought they did axe it? Or was it he didnât renew contract and went to 9.
Nothing.
But on the rare occasions Iâve seen any mid-morning television in recent times, the content (outside ad breaks/advertorials) is mostly just a televisual equivalent of Womanâs Day or New Idea. Rubbish, in other words.
Bit generous to not include advertorials as rubbish
Bert, Network Ten ident 2004
GMA became 9am with David and Kim then The Circle (not to be confused with a reality show of the same name) then Studio 10.
The last year of GMA wasnât the best rating wise, especially up against the new Mornings with K&K. A number of changes were made to the show in its final years, it went live 5 days a week and from memory live news updates and new segment were added, along with a revamped set.
I believe Bert and Ten management didnât see eye to eye in 2005 and Bert accepted an offer from Channel 9, leading to GMA being scraped at the end of 2005.
According to Peter Ford, Bert Newtonâs state funeral wonât be televised. However, itâll be streamed for those who want to watch it:
That is disappointing given his contribution and major presence on TV for so many years, but maybe thatâs the familyâs decision, though. At least it will be streamed.
thatâs my understanding, too. Nine had been trying to get Bert to come back for years. They even put together a whole special, hosted by Don Lane, featuring two hours of Bert Newton clips. I may be corrected but I vaguely recall that Nine even played the special to Bert privately as part of its negotiations. I suppose it was to trigger some sense of nostalgia with him that might see him come back, and given the decline in GMA it probably finally made sense to accept the offer.
The special went to air and was later released on DVD and many of those clips formed what appeared on the tribute special on Sunday night.
Why isnât the funeral being televised considering everything Bert did for TV in this country?
