The BBC has published the results of its biggest ever listening exercise – which shows resounding support for its continuing mission to inform, educate and entertain.

The Our BBC, Our Future questionnaire, launched in March this year, received 872,701 responses, with people from across the UK sharing their views on the organisation and its future.

The results will play a central part of the BBC’s planning for the future, now that the Charter Review process with government is underway.

Now Ofcom is ordering an on-air apology on BBC2 over the Gaza documentary controversy.

Ofcom has ordered the BBC to broadcast a prime-time statement about its conclusions.

“As this represents a serious breach of our rules, we are directing the BBC to broadcast a statement of our findings against it on BBC2 at 21:00, with a date to be confirmed,” it said.

Tess and Claudia have quit Strictly Come Dancing, meaning the biggest live show on the BBC needs to find new hosts for next year. I think people were beginning to think Claudia would move on given the success of The Traitors, now likely to be a twice yearly affair with the addition of the celeb version. Tess is rarely seen on TV outside of Strictly - she has a podcast but probably been over a decade since she hosted another TV series.

Didn’t see that coming honestly. Claudia sure but Tess’s been there since a long time ago and is as much of an institution on Strictly as the late Bruce Forsyth was.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind if they got Bradley Walsh involved in a hosting capacity one way or another. Not sure of anyone else though. Zoe Ball perhaps?

BBC Studios Unifies its Media & Streaming Business in ANZ and Asia Under New APAC Leadership

BBC Studios today announced the formal integration of its media and streaming business in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) and Asia into a single APAC region, under the leadership of Robi Stanton, who has been appointed to the expanded role of President, APAC Media & Streaming.

The move reflects BBC Studios’ commitment to streamlining its global operations and accelerating growth across key international markets. Stanton, a respected media executive with deep experience across commercial strategy and regional leadership, joined BBC Studios earlier this year and has played a pivotal role in reshaping the business across Asia Pacific.

Marcus Arthur, CEO, BBC Studios Global Channels, Streaming and UKTV said: “Bringing BBC Studios’ media and streaming business in ANZ and Asia together under Robi’s leadership is a strategic step forward. Robi brings clarity, energy, and a sharp commercial lens to the region, and I’m confident this alignment will unlock new opportunities for growth and collaboration across APAC.”

Robi Stanton, President, APAC Media & Streaming added: “BBC Studios has an extraordinary portfolio and a talented team across Asia Pacific. I’m excited to lead this next chapter as we build a more connected and agile business, focused on delivering world-class content and experiences to audiences across the region.”

Prior to joining BBC Studios in March 2025, Robi held a range of senior leadership roles at CNN International, Warner Bros. Discovery and Turner International in both Australia and Singapore. She was responsible for overall business management and drove significant business transformation, leading teams across content, commercial, marketing, digital and operations.

The move will see BBC Studios “streamline operations” across the two regions,” it said. Phil Hardman remains as EVP & General Manager, Asia, and there have been no layoffs due to the merger, BBC Studios said. Earlier this year, BBC Studios ceased production in India, striking a multi-year deal with Banijay Asia in its stead.
