Seven is holding an AGT competition for media and advertising industry people. The major prize is a trip for four people (winner plus 3 friends or family) to the AGT grand final in Sydney, including:

Celebrity Meet and Greet
VIP Seats in the Audience for the Grand Final
There are five runner-up prizes, which is a VIP package to the semi finals this month.
According to terms and conditions, the finals will be filmed in Sydney on these dates:
semi final 1: Thursday, July 11
semi final 2: Wednesday, July 17
semi final 3: Friday, July 19
semi final 4 and 5: Friday July 26
grand final: August 9

Host, judges (they spent all the budget on Nicole), the set/stage seems basic, recycling an old format etc
I disagree. I doubt Nicole is even that expensive these days anyway. I’m glad they’re actually using Aussie talent on this show for the judges/host.

She wouldn’t be cheap. She has hosted these shows all around the world.
She was axed in both the UK and the US. She doesn’t that much pulling power anymore.
She is a current judge on the masked singer, and she has pulling power

Also this article reports her income for the last season of the X factor she did in the UK
I am not saying she would be on that money but there is little doubt she would command some serious cash. She would be the highest paid judge.

Geez Nicole Sherzinger doesn’t stop with the talent show judging this year. She’s currently back in the UK as a judge for Celebrity X Factor which will air in a couple of months time. Looks like they must be filming some of the early round stuff before coming back here to do AGT live shows.
Celebrity X Factor, really? What’s the point?
Yep they are taking a break from normal X Factor and doing a celebrity version. Simon Cowell is apparently very confident in the concept and spending big bucks to convince some people to get on board that he thinks has singing potential. The winner will get a recording contract just like the usual X Factor. I guess when you think about it the concept isn’t much different to a show like It Takes Two which we had here, where the celebs had a singing coach. Although I suspect they will be performing solo.
Some of the rumoured names circulating to be on it include people like Gemma Collins and Meaghan Mckenna who between them have been on just about every reality “celeb” show in the UK. They are also apparently forming groups such as having a group made up of former Love Island contestants and a group formed of Rugby Players.
