Meet Your Castaways.
Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn Premieres Monday 17 February At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Two tribes. 24 all new players. Doctors, poker players, Olympic sprinters, AFL Wags, teachers and a witch. But only one sole Survivor. The ultimate game of survival begins on Monday, 17 February at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
This year Australian Survivor will once again pit brute strength against mental agility as Brains V Brawn face-off.
With Jonathan LaPaglia at the helm, castaways will go head-to-head in Samoa for an epic tenth season where both tribes will attempt to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast each other to take home the title of Sole Survivor, as well as a $500,000 cash prize.
Meet your castaways for 2025.

Ally – A.I. Expert
Having spent years proving herself in a historically male-oriented industry, Ally is loud, funny, and “true blue to the core”.
Indy – Business Development Manager
Business manager by day, stand-up comedian by night, Indy has a love for puzzles and describes herself as fiercely competitive.

Appearances may be deceiving, but Kaelan is used to people underestimating his intellect due to his sporty build, in fact he’s hoping his tribemates underestimate him.
Karin – Doctor
Working in an orthopaedic surgery, Karin is used to helping surgeons fix things but coming into Survivor, she’s excited to be the one to break bones for a change.
Kent – Business Mogul
Kent has been a fan of Survivor for 25 years, and getting to play the game is a dream come true. He’s driven, focused and has his eye on the prize.

Logan – AFL Wag
Wanting to show the world she’s more than just a WAG and mum, Logan wants to dive into Survivor purely for herself.

Myles – Financial Analyst
A lover of statistics, Myles hopes his analytical approach will be exactly what he needs to get ahead in the game.
Rich – Film Director
Working with some of the biggest actors, Rich isn’t afraid to stir the pot, especially if it gets him one step closer to the title of Sole Survivor.

Wild child Jesse wants to be the personality hire of the tribe, bringing the vibes and helping everyone find their fun… until the time comes along to make some big moves.

Powerhouse and powerlifter Ursula knows her strength will be her greatest tool in the game. Fierce, strong, and extremely disciplined, she’s ready for the fight of a lifetime.
Zen – Hip Hop Artist

Speaking of Brawn, Morgan is used to the running track, but now that she’s trying to run things on the beach, her Olympic mettle will be put to the test.
Finally, Kent knows all about gold, the multi-millionaire is used to getting what he wants, and he’s here to play the game hard. Will the praying mantis be Sole Survivor, or will he bug out before the end game?

Has anyone watched the UK version on 10play? Just wondering if it’s worth a watch?
Watched it a while ago, from memory it was ok but unlike some on here I am no Survivor expert. I liked the host Joel Dommett.
Western Bulldogs WAG Logan Shine gears up to star in new season of Australian Survivor
Logan Shine, the wife of Western Bulldogs star Jason Johannisen, has paid tribute to him for supporting her lifelong dream of competing on Australian Survivor.
Shine first applied to go on the series seven years ago and was successful after re-applying last year.
“I was passed up for Shonee (Bowtell) at the time because they said we were too similar so it was on the cards, it was just a matter of timing,’’ Shine said.
“I’d been a fan of the show for a long time and had done a deep dive into the American series. Jase was incredibly supportive. I sat by and watched him achieve his dreams so it was time for me to chase mine.”
Mumbrella has a Q&A interview with JLP.
The show is obviously gruelling for the contestants – but how hard is it for you? What routines or safeguards have you put into place so you don’t burnout or go mad, etc. while filming such a show?
When I was first offered the show I thought, “That doesn’t look too hard, I’ll do a little bit of work and then hang out at the pool with a Pina Colada and a good book”. Boy, was I wrong!
It’s one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever done. Unlike an acting gig, where I get another take if a scene doesn’t go as planned, this is reality, so it needs to be right the first time every time. You can’t go back and fix stuff. I feel the pressure of that and I’m constantly prepping, rehearsing, and shooting. And once the game starts, it doesn’t stop. There are no weekends. So, I try to squeeze in a little bit of exercise every day to try to stay sane. It definitely helps, but by the end of the season I get a little loopy.
Do you watch the US version, or do you steer clear of it? Likewise, do you watch the Australian version back when it airs?
I’ve watched all the U.S. seasons. I’m a fan. Also, as the OG, it’s the golden roadmap on how to do the show. I’ve learnt a lot.
And yes, I do watch the Aussie version. I hear about what is happening back at camp when we’re shooting but I don’t get to see it. So, it’s a real treat to witness all the tribe shenanigans once its assembled.
Explosive From The Get-Go!
Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn II.
Premieres Monday, 17 February At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
With less than a week to go until the highly anticipated series of Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn II, we’ve dropped a brand new promo, teasing what promises to be the most explosive season yet!
Viewers won’t want to miss a single moment as 12 of the physically strongest and 12 of the most strategic minds go head-to-head in Samoa, battling it out in the epic tenth season of Australian Survivor.
From the first episode, the stakes are high: treachery, loyalty, deception, lies, and chaos take centre stage as the first idol of the season is discovered within five minutes of island life.
Among the Brains tribe, millionaire mastermind Kent sets the tone for the season, boldly declaring, ‘I’m the praying mantis; I’m coming to eat you all alive”.
In a game where mind and body will be pushed the ultimate limit, 24 fearless competitors will fight to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast for the ultimate title of Sole Survivor and a life-changing $500,000 prize.
I’m a little worried about this season. Launching well into a MAFS (and idol) season rather than at the same time may hurt it. I know that survivor usually has its solid 600k viewers but hopefully they still have room in their evening viewing schedule for this….
It has launched midway during MAFS previously and been fine.
It has a big catch up presence too (me as an example), so even if overnights are weak on certain nights, it usually balances out with catch up.
Given the BVOD success of MAFS, I wonder if there is an overseas component of that. 10 should consider removing the VPN blocking from 10Play as there always seems to be a lot of interest from other countries.
It certainly seems to be the reason why MAFS has had a boost this season. There were a lot of suggestions online on how to watch it from overseas using a VPN.
Is Australian Survivor screening anywhere else in the world?
Its definately availble online in places, the survivor fans will be able to tell you how and were they watch it.
JLP confirmed that he had only a short break in between filming of Brains v Brawn II and Australia v The World.
“We did the regular season, then we had five days off and then we rolled straight into the to the special season of ‘Australia v The World.’ I went back to Sydney during those five days to shoot (Binge drama) Strife. So, it was a lot,” he recalls.
It screens on TVNZ in New Zealand.
It is revealed on Screenscribe today that TVNZ2 will show Brains v Brawn II from Monday February 24.
