It didn’t go to a commercial. It literally continued on. I don’t know how you could have missed it but clearly Chris did lol
Yup happened to me. My partner assumed the same and I have since checked with friends who we often group chat through the episode and they turned off then as well.
I saw Hayley going to Redemption and speaking to Baden then there was a scene showing of her talking kind of building up her comeback. Then the Survivor logo just came on screen into commercials and I assumed that was it. Given Tribal is usually the end if the episode and any sort of returnee challenge is usually the start of the following episode (at least it is in the US) I just didn’t expect it. Maybe if it showed the next morning or them walking to challenge prior to the break it would have been more obvious.
They probably should have saved the redemption rock challenge for Sunday. I’m devastated Hayley got eliminated and came back in. I hope it doesn’t ruin her resume. Do others think this?
I don’t totally knock her too much for it, her and Baden got extremely unlucky with that fire making twist where Baden went home 1-0. And to have Baden gone it was impossible for Hayley to be able to do anything. She got screwed by a twist so I don’t hold it against her too much. And hey this is AUSTRALIAN Survivor, twists are part of it so we have to kind of just take it into account.
Still can’t believe the survival expert didn’t win the fire making contest.
Here is Andrew’s webiste and YouTube channel
In his defense Dani’s fire making tactic was very erratic.
It’s as if producers threw in a last minute twist at tribal to try and give him the sole vote.
The next Australian Survivor is coming to Charters Towers. Locals report that production crew have set up.
The current outback location has been part of the success of this season. Such a change from Fiji beaches and coconuts. So glad to see them back again.
I think channel 10 are playing tonight’s episode right now
Just had a look, and that was the final 20mins of Tuesday’s episode, some people may have missed that as it all occurred after Tribal Council.
Ah I see! Thanks
Interesting that 10 has still not released the synopses for this week, with tonight’s episode just hours away.
“It’s massive game play and a favourite will go home!”
See everyone on the show is acting like it has but I don’t think so at all. To come back from Redemption Rock after receiving every single vote to then not even get a single vote at the next TC is pretty amazing IMO. She is really smart to lay low now at least for a couple of votes to give the perception that she’s been knocked down peg but then I’d like to see her come out and strike again towards the end.
Last night’s episode was another really good one. It’s a shame to see the Brawn all turn on each other as they are some of the stronger players but it’s also fun seeing them fall about. That was such a good move to have the Brawn turn on each other yet still have the Brains send someone else home. I swear though that Andrew, Laura and Wai are such dead weight in this game. Andrew has barely said a word all season.
Last night’s reward challenge had the winning team eating KFC and drinking beer at a pop-up outback pub. I reckon the fried chicken, chips, coleslaw etc. came from the KFC store at Mount Isa, but it would still have taken the crew a couple of hours to carry the food to site (and reheat the chicken and chips).
I would have thought it was sent in frozen and just fried at a local pub (or using catering equipment).
Can confirm it came from Mt Isa, producers drove there and took about 1.5 hours I believe to get the food back. Additional food was purchased for the production crew also.
George found a key that would open a hidden box on top of the voting table at tribal council, containing a secret immunity idol. Has this been done on other versions of Survivor before?
