Going by Sportsbet, looks like the Survivor winner has been leaked too.
I still thought it was filming
Filming finished in the second week of June I believe.
An exclusive preview is now available to view on 10 Play before tonightâs season premiere.
There is an article about the set from News Corpâs Nick Bond. He revealed that contestants travelled between camps and challenges in minivans, blindfolded and in silence.
First 15 minutes:
Great episode tonight so far. Really well produced as usual.
Episodes just too long
So we think this white guy gunning for the Asian girl to go is racist?
An acknowledgment of country ahead of E01 tonight
How do we think this will go tonight??? Itâs
Made well as usual but being third to the reality party( launching last) is never a great thing.
Great start tonight. Already some potential survivor royalty emerging with George.
They have done well finding good looking men this season. Hope we see more of Emmett.
That was a big twist having half of the tribe absent from voting tonight.
Hell YES!!! Loved him and his yellow tights. Not that we really got to see him as a person.
Did not seem like a very smart use of the game advantage tonight though I enjoy a big twist like that.
Food Over Fire And A Hidden Advantage.
Crochet King Phil Eliminated From Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn.
After years of island life, a new chapter began tonight as Australian Survivor went Outback. With the title of Sole Survivor and the $500,000 prize that goes with it up for grabs, our two new Tribes got to work to answer the age-old question: Brains or Brawn? But with Brawn taking out both the Reward and Immunity Challenge, so far the tally is zip, one, as Brainsâ crochet king Phil, was sent packing.
Presented with their first Reward Challenge where the winning Tribe could choose between an outback survival kit containing fresh fruit and vegies, rope and tarp, or fire in the form of a torch flame, it was Brawn who took home the advantage.
Choosing the survival kit over fire became their biggest mistake when the temperate dropped. Welcome to the stark, cold, reality of the Queensland outback!
The next morning, despite losing the Reward, Brains were in high spirits⌠except Wai who was feeling overwhelmed. Unhappy with how Mitch was running the Brains, George took Wai under his wing, before filling up at the well, only to uncover a hidden advantage!
Arriving at the Immunity Challenge, Brawn realised that regardless of winning the Reward Challenge, there was no advantage without fire. Making up for his poor choice yesterday, Simon redeemed himself with great ball skills, winning Brawn Immunity and saving them from Tribal Council.
With Mitch taking charge of the Brains and what he thinks was the vote, George bided his time until he could play his hidden advantage.
Fighting the good Brain fight, George backed his vision of keeping the Tribe strong with book smarts and street smarts and revealed his advantage. Choosing to save himself, Rachel, Baden, Cara, Georgia and Wai, it was Phil that had his torch snuffed, graciously leaving his crocheted hat as a memento to his Tribe.
Tomorrow night, in one of the toughest challenges yet, can underdogs Brains overcome Brawn and send them to Tribal Council?
Great rating for Survivorâs new season last night, compares favourably to previous season and one of the few reality formats to improve on its 2020 results. This season stared with 752,000.
That compares to 623,000 in 2020.
2019 807,000,
2018 716,000,
2017 639,000
2016 783,000
I really enjoyed this opener last night. Iâm not sure if itâs because I havenât had any new Survivor for a while but the cast overall seems more interesting than any of the past few seasons. Plus even though there are some known names on there, they werenât the focus and most of the airtime went to others.
The only things that I didnât like were the length (please shorten the eps) and the advantage. Removing 5 people without giving others an opportunity to strategise just seemed gimmicky to me.
Overall though I have a better vibe about this season than any of the other Aussie ones so letâs hope it continues that way.
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but Iâm surprised theyâve put this up against the Olympics. Perhaps theyâve done this in case the Olympics get cancelled at the last minute?
Are you suggesting that the other networks should just give up when the Olympics are on? I actually think itâs a perfect alternative. Survivor has a very loyal core audience and given there is very little hype surrounding the Olympics this year⌠this might pay off.
Agree they need to sort this out for all their 7:30 shows.
10 have always had this strategy so I am not sure why you were expecting them to change it this time around.
they could get at least 5mins back just by cutting some of the pre-challenge trash talk, some of it is pretty cringe and doesnât add anything.
