Amor/Maddern Leaked Video

Glenn Taylor got sacked from Ten News Brisbane for his “testicles” comment… but that was deliberate and on air

No idea where you’d find it. Was about 1998 maybe? The female newsreader (could even have been Marie-Louise) finished a sentence that ended with “dangling” and he chimed in (off camera) “by his testicles”… but could be heard.
That’s my recollection anyway…

Here’s his sacking interview - not sure if the clip itself is in there.

It’s there.

That video sure is loaded with irony.

I believe nothing was stated or said in tonight’s bulletin?

The two 10 Brisbane examples are far more innocent and less defamatory and topical than this example though. Despite it not being broadcast, it’s had far more exposure than either of them ever will. That’s why Seven are so serious about investigating. Perhaps the best comparison is only jacketgate.

Interviewed by Ben McCormack who went on to be sacked from A Current Affair after he was charged with two counts of using a carriage service to transmit, publish or promote child abuse material.

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone/people lose jobs over this if they are from the caption company. Jeopardising their company’s exclusive contract regardless of the nature of commentary right or wrong is irrelevant.

Otherwise if I were Seven, I’d be strongly considering terminating the contract and going to Red Bee or someone else, if they are found to be the source.

Nor should it, an investigation is underway, and they’ll deal with it internally as they see fit.

If I was caught having a bitch session at work about anything and using lots of expletives the way Amor has, I’d be in serious strife.

Sure, voice your opinion but the setting and language used within a workplace and in front of a female isn’t great.

Please don’t @ me.

in my workplace it would be the same, but I don’t think it’s a stretch to consider that some workplaces are very different environments and newsrooms would be rife with that sort of language. The Newsreader featuring the bosses shouting obscenities from their office is close to reality.

oh please, females are not the fragile creatures you think they are. They can fly with the foul language as much as anyone!

If you were in the lunch room talking with colleagues it would be more accepted then on a set. Which is more of a working area. It is like if you were walking past a meeting room and someone started swearing all of a sudden. Depending on the culture and at most places I’ve worked at most people would think, what’s going on there. The worker may get a talking to depending on who heard it ie if it was the CEO who happened to walk past. But that would be the extent of it.

Especially Maddern, she’d shred Mike for breakfast. She’s not a shrinking violet.

Calling someone a hole and given Rebecca also said it isn’t as offensive these days as it previously was. Yes there was a female present yes but she said the same thing who cares. Whoever leaked it and if it was proven should be sacked. If it was someone at the capturing provider I would rip up the contract.

From last nights ratings, Seven had a slight increase in Melbourne from the previous Monday and Tuesdays figures across the hour. So far it’s had no damage on ratings.
