It was an amazing effort. I’m still not completely sold on Fremantle but i am looking forward to seeing them against Melbourne.
I see no reason they couldn’t just use the existing state rep club song.

Port Adelaide have just won against St Kilda by 1 point in the last minute.
Very close game and a very hard game to watch. The conditions made it very difficult to play enjoyable football. But a wins a win.

Today’s Western Bulldogs-Essendon clash is the 1000th AFL match played at Melbourne’s Docklands Stadium since it opened in early 2000.

Yeah I can’t recall a lower scoring game since maybe 2020. But it is quite common for Cairns. Last years Adelaide and St Kilda game was quite low scoring as well and ended in a very similar way.

Personally the best game I’ve seen was Gold Coast beating Richmond last year on a Thursday night
Collingwood vs Brisbane was probably the best game I have watched at the venue.
Qtr time 9-9 SYD vs BNE.
Another unusual scoreline (so far).
Though it’s one appropriate for teams based in “rugby” states (= 3 penalty goals each).
Rugby Union, yes. But they made up for that score line by full time.

UPDATE: acting AFL chief executive Kylie Rogers issued a formal apology today.
Gold Coast did well to get the win today. They seem to match up well against Sydney and love playing at the SCG.

What a win from the mighty Dons. Peter Wright played so good towards the end and proud of my team’s performance!
Conversely another disappointing performance from Hawthorn. Another final quarter fade out and missed chances in front of goals.
