At the Great Slaughter Mangold Wurzel Festival, festivities come to an abrupt halt when a young woman’s corpse is found within the Aunt Sally dummy.
Meanwhile, DS Felix Livingstone (Jerry Iwu), on secondment from Bermuda, has wound up in Great Slaughter rather than his intended employment at Scotland Yard.
Sister Boniface (Lorna Watson) speedily introduces him to the case and the victim is identified as Grace Pearson (Daniella Phillips), housemaid to the Bellamy Family - a trio of eccentric siblings Electra (Silvia Presente), Edwin (Michael Marcus) and Fabian (Fred Fergus), who recently became wealthy after the sudden death of their uncle. A death which Sister Boniface begins to suspect was anything but natural.
The unintelligible accents, unorthodox policing methods, not to mention the boss’s reliance on a Catholic Nun, leave Felix reeling. But can the addition of this reluctant recruit help the gang to solve the case?

ANZAC Day on ABC TV
The ABC live coverage of Anzac Day marches in each state and other services at home and abroad have become fundamental to the commemoration of Anzac Day for Australians.
The ABC’s coverage will coordinate the key commemorative events in Australia, Gallipoli in Turkiye, and Villers-Bretonneux in France. These will be broadcast on ABC TV, ABC NEWS channel, and live streaming on ABC iview throughout the day.
From 4.20am AEST, ABC will broadcast the Anzac Dawn Service from Sydney, followed by the Anzac Day Dawn Service live from the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, at 5.30am AEST. This will be followed from 9am AEST with live local coverages of marches in all state and territory capital cities.
At 12.30pm AEST, the Gallipoli Dawn Service will commence from the Anzac Commemorative site located by the water at Anzac Cove in Turkiye. The cove is on the Gallipoli Peninsula and following the landing became the main base for the Australian and New Zealand troops during the 8-month campaign.
The Villers-Bretonneux Dawn Service will be broadcast live at 1.30pm AEST from the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux.
ABC NEWS channel will have live coverage all day, with the major national services in full and crossing to marches in all state capitals. Plus, we’ll hear from ABC News reporters in regional areas and overseas to see how Australians are marking the day.
On ABC Radio and the ABC listen app there will be live coverage of local dawn services and marches, and Radio National will broadcast the Anzac Day Dawn Service in Canberra from 5.30am.
As is customary, the Anzac Day Address by the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) will be broadcast nationally immediately before the ABC evening news bulletins at 7pm.

For the first time Israel Folau’s story is examined in all its multi-layered complexity, featuring crucial Pasifika voices and exploring the nexus between freedom of religion and speech, the rights of the LGBTQI community, and how far the workplace can reasonably go to balance the two.
PART 1 traces Israel Folau’s upbringing in the devout Christian traditions of the Pasifika community, whose other ‘religion’ is rugby. It follows his meteoric and record setting rise through three football codes, culminating in 73 appearances for the Wallabies. While initially grappling with the pitfalls of fame and fortune, when his father Eni experiences a major health scare, Folau re-evaluates his choices, setting him on a path that will alter the course of his career and life forever.

With the Coronation of King Charles on Saturday (6 May), i understand that there will be many “segments” surrounding the event. It’s usually the same for Royal Weddings and funerals - due to their lengthy duration.
But what’s the point at for having two segments (between 6 and 7.30pm)? One’s titled “Arrivals” and one is “Arrivals Continued”. That’s something Seven and Nine will do. lol.
Apart from that, another good schedule for the ABC.
