Just a 1 off because it was a Collingwood game. I think they wanted VFL players to be at the MCG for the record breaking game which was a 4:30 start

The ABC will broadcast one match per week of the 2026 VFL finals series live on TV in Victoria, and streaming on iView nationally.
Its coverage begins with the second wildcard final between Williamstown and Carlton live from DSV Stadium this Saturday (August 22) at 11am AEST.

Both matches happening at the same time at 11:05am. So it’s not possible to air both
On 12 September ABC with air both Preliminary finals - 11AM and 2PM doubleheader.

I feel ABC could of shown the Cats v Devils VFL since they haven’t featured before & it’s their first finals in their first season
The Seven Network will broadcast Tasmania Football Club’s home finals via Seven Tasmania and 7plus Sport nationally
So in week 2, 7 will show the remaining semi final if Tassie loses or 7 will show the remaining preliminary final if Tassie wins in week 3

The AFL released the fixture at midday AEST today. The two preliminary finals will be shown on the ABC and iView on separate days.
