That actually helps ABC with broadcasting. They can use both callers & expert for both games instead of either separating them (1 caller + 1 expert) for each game or having to use others

VFL prelim final - ABC took a 3-minute “ad break” full of promos straight after the game then returned for analysis. Coverage finished 1:54pm.

It will be between Box Hill Hawks and Geelong, and take place at Ikon Park in Melbourne. It will be their first meet in the VFL decider since 2013 when Box Hill won by 21 points.

The AFL posted online last night that the VFLW GF would be streamed live on the league website and app.

According to TV guides on both ABC website and YourTV, the VFL grand final telecast this Sunday is scheduled to finish at 3.10pm, at half time of the match. I am not sure if it is a mistake, or a deliberate ploy to force fans to watch the whole match on iView or the AFL website.
Now scheduled to run for 4 hours finish at 5.30pm

The ABC has two commentary team at Ikon Park today for the VFL Grand Final.
TV: Jason Bennett, Matt Clinch, Callum Sinclair, Gemma Bastiani and Joe Pignataro
Radio: Ben Cameron, Lauren Bordin, Adam Ramanauskas and Brent Harvey
The VFL grand final telecast finished at 5.21pm.
Jason Bennett acknowledged JAMTV for producing the ABC’s VFL coverage this year.
