It’s clearly wrong and while mistakes happen, when you’re reporting on news/facts it’s not really acceptable especially from the ABC.

Yep. They’ve been changing them so many times lately. 
as sammy123 pointed out they barely changed them last year so something interesting.
Originally when the package was relaunched I thought the intention was to replace the images continually just like the title card.

They used four - it changed seasonally which worked really well.

Too frequent imo. Changing it seasonally worked much better.
