ABC News Presenters and Reporters

Given that it’ll be live on News 24, that is probably fair enough.
Back in the day when not everybody had access to News 24 I could understand it, but now, if you have ABC, you have ABC News 24.

Something you don’t see very often, the ABC’s Jennifer Browning reporting with Nine’s Danny Weidler interviewing Australian rugby league halfback Cooper Cronk in the background!

Not the first time that a Nine News reporter has unintentionally snuck into the reporter piece to camera of a rival channel though! Sydney fluff/puff piece correspondent Mike Dalton yelling during the PTC of Seven’s Matthew Snelson in an ACDC report late last year instantly comes to mind!

Oh dear. Is there a water leak in the Southbank studio? Is it due to the heavy rain yesterday and this morning?

One would assume so

Melbourne’s summer/dusk lightwell graphic is really terrible compared to all the other ones. Such a shame.

ABC News Victoria coming from Perth again tonight, with Hendo in the chair

Did ABC News Breakfast air from the studio this morning? I noticed Vanessa was out and about.

Michael Rowland & Del Irani were live from the Sydney studio and Virginia Troli from the ABC foyer in Melbourne.

Hendo again presenting Victorian bulletin from Perth.

Thought he sounded unusual, very interesting…

The backdrop is much clearer when broadcasting from the Melbourne studios, not sure why it looks so tacky in Perth. And why is the summer backdrop being used anyway???

My guess is because last time when Tamara Oudyn was presenting from Perth, they were using the summer backdrop.

Also for some reason they have managed to get the dimensions wrong as well, leading to squashed Melbourne buildings…
