I don’t get the tense of the annoucement - “will be joining”, “from 14 February”.
Lexy has been regularly seen on the bulletin for up to 10 years including last night.

Former long-time ABC reporter Peter Kennedy has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for service to the print and broadcast media.
“It is a great honour to be recognised like this,” Mr Kennedy said.
“It’s an important honour I think for scores, hundreds of journalists around the country that work seven days a week, 24 hours a day in the cities and in the regions, often without much recognition, but do important work.”
Also Adrienne Francis will now be sharing weekend duties with Jade Toomey.

He’s not too bad, but Tamara’s my favourite. He has a peculiar way of positioning himself at the desk when conducting face-to-face interviews.
Danny Tran is best out in the field. A great journalist but not so good behind the desk IMHO.
