Watch Tracy: A Force of Nature tonight, I notice that the interview with Alan Kohler was conducted at the Brisbane news set, as I can see the Story Bridge in the background. I thought that he works from Melbourne?

He is based in Brisbane
But in the documentary he reunited with a colleague from the NT News who now lives in Brisbane.

Sorry I had a typo I meant to say he is based in Melbourne. But in the doco his colleague he met was in Brisbane which explains why the interview was done in the Brisbane studio.

Yeah can’t get away with a national bulletin on NYE or NYD. People will expect local coverage of celebrations.

Truly the most local coverage from my local 10 bulletin tonight.

I think NYD has been a national bulletin recently IIRC.

Fi Willan, most notably for her time at Nine and for the past year at Sky News, has joined the ABC as a Senior Reporter in Sydney.

The view of Western Sydney from my new workplace. I’ve joined the ABC as a senior reporter, and am looking forward to starting the federal election year with some story hunting + deep diving (once I’ve stopped bugging the incredibly patient IT team with new starter questions :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)
