Odd that Amy Culpit doesn’t seem to be presenting often anymore? She was the long time newsreader after Nine News Darwin scaled back in 2017
They’ve been relocating talent in the network to Darwin to present.
Last year had Jessica Rendall and Melissa Mackay consistently for a while then Eleni randomly appeared with the revolving door of presenters… now Amy is back. Like what? Lol
She randomly appears every couple months. Eleni will be consistent for a while then vanishes.
I guess they aren’t commercial so consistency isn’t a priority for them

Amy Culpit is now the presenter of the weekly regional news program. Not sure if she does any producing as part of that.
However, the NT has had roughly 8-9 presenters since 2020.
Eleni was already back before Jessica went back to Sydney. Would either be Eleni, Jessica, or Melissa. Now it seems like it’s whoever happens to be there and not in the field.
Put their Irish reporter Jane Bardon on the airwaves I reckon!
And while they are at it, give the radio presenters a shot at this point.
Maybe that’s just a Darwin thing, nobody wants to hang around for long up there?
I messaged Paul Higgins on Twitter last Wednesday to ask why he is absent so much from the Victorian bulletin, here’s what he said:
Wonder why they’ve never sent Bourchier to fill in on the NT news. He’s more known to them than he ever was to the ACT.

What exactly was his role on the news channel? Given how much leave he likes to use up they probably want a little more consistency, something 7pm can get away with.
He presented the weather between 3pm and 9pm. Graham Creed use to do this when he was the NSW weather presenter, then Paul took over. Jenny Woodward (QLD weather presenter) was the main fill in, while NT newsreader Elani Rusous filled in over summer. Now it appears there is no weather presenter at the moment.
Tom Saunders ever do news channel or just Sydney?
I think I saw him do the weather one afternoon last week, can’t recall which day it was.
I think he only appears during major weather events.
