ABC News Presenters and Reporters

Friday 17 December -
Paul Higgins presented in Victoria tonight.

Saturday 18 December -
Ishkandar Razak presented in Victoria tonight.

Including Sunday there had been six different presenters on ABC News Victoria this week (Tamara Oudyn, Madeleine Morris, Bridget Rollason, Mary Gearin, Paul Higgins, Ishkandar Razak). This has to be some sort of a record.

Judging by the description of ABC News NT on Iview, Amy Culpitt may have left the Darwin newsroom, and Laetitia Lemke to take over?

Suzie Raines presented in Victoria last night (January 2) and is doing it again tonight (January 3).

With Mary Gearin hosting Drive on ABC Radio Melbourne this week and Tamara Oudyn still on holidays, there will be different fill-in presenters on ABC News Victoria during the week.

With afternoon radio news being national this week I presume Suzie will do every night on the telly.

That’s a good use of recourses. Maybe the ABC are finally getting it.

It should be the exception rather than the rule though.

I think we would all prefer to see all aspects of news presented locally where possible.
