ABC News Victoria
Good to see Suzie back thought we wouldn’t see her for another decade again!
Judging by the description of ABC News NT on Iview, Amy Culpitt may have left the Darwin newsroom, and Laetitia Lemke to take over?
Lexy Hamilton-Smith presenting on News Channel tonight from Brisbane.
Suzie Raines presented in Victoria last night (January 2) and is doing it again tonight (January 3).
With Mary Gearin hosting Drive on ABC Radio Melbourne this week and Tamara Oudyn still on holidays, there will be different fill-in presenters on ABC News Victoria during the week.
With afternoon radio news being national this week I presume Suzie will do every night on the telly.
Bridget Rollason’s fill-in newsreader role on ABC News Victoria last month was reported in the newspaper of her hometown of Maryborough.
Paul Higgins presenting in Victoria tonight (Friday) after Suzie Raines fronted the bulletin for the past five nights.
Paul also this weekend. I assume Suzie back either Sunday or Monday.
Monday 10 January -
Tamara Oudyn returns to present Victorian bulletin tonight. She also reads the weather tonight.
Wednesday 12 January -
Graham Creed presenting Victorian weather from Sydney.
That’s a good use of recourses. Maybe the ABC are finally getting it.
It should be the exception rather than the rule though.
I think we would all prefer to see all aspects of news presented locally where possible.
I wonder why? Not at all uncommon for Tamara (or others) to read the weather. Perhaps an issue with the weather graphics? If so a thoughtful solution.
Tamara Oudyn won’t be presenting the Melbourne bulletin over the next week due to being in iso:
