The glasses gave her quite the classy look, they are a pain to wear though, good on her for investing in herself.
Mary Lloyd, producer and journalist from the ABCâs specialist reporting team, has completed her cancer treatment which included four months of chemotherapy.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.

Very good!
It is awful of the way Emma was treated by her boss, ABC News director Gaven Morris, no doubt under pressure from the Murdoch media and LNP. She had a great 18 year career at the ABC.
Emma also said she would no longer be on TV and would not accept any role if itâs offered. Very sad. I hope there will be a radio or newspaper role for her.
From earlier this week
Now that the situation is resolved hopefully she can put the focus on her mental health and her family, and avoiding social media ( so much hatred from trolls has been directed at her especially in recent months) would certainly help her mental health.Wishing her all the best for the future.
Includes reactions from Emmaâs lawyer and former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who in 2018 complained to the ABC regarding errors in Emmaâs online piece on proposed corporate tax cuts.
Among the journalists who volunteered for redundancy or whose positions were made redundant are radio presenter Elizabeth Jackson, arts reporter Michaela Boland, former foreign correspondents Zoe Daniel, Dominique Schwartz and Karen Percy, emergency broadcast manager Sascha Rundle and the head of ABC Audio, Kellie Riordan.
The business editor of RN Breakfast, Sheryle Bagwell, who has also served as the programâs executive producer, is stepping down after almost 15 years. Host Fran Kelly described her as âa real editorial leader on the programmeâ.
Andrea Ho, an executive who has championed diversity at the ABC has had her role abolished too. Four Corners reporter and multiple Walkley-award winner Sophie McNeill resigned to join Human Rights Watch before the redundancies began, as did The World Today presenter Eleanor Hall who resigned to take up a long held dream of going to the National Art School. Itâs a lot of strong female talent walking out the door.
Jesus, what a blow. Thatâs a lot of formidable talent leaving in such a short window.
Tuesday 25 August to Thursday 27 August-
Mary Gearin is presenting in Victoria filling in for Tamara.
Andrew Geoghegan is leaving the ABC, last bulletin was on 27 of August on The World & 11pm News.
His farewell message is on iView for The World.
One of Andrew Geogheganâs finest moments!
But in all seriousness, hopefully weâll see him somewhere else in the future!
Such a shame he is leaving. He is a very good presenter and was quite good on Weekend Breakfast.
Is it just me or there are very few male presenters on the News Channel at the moment?
A little diversity wouldnât go too farâŠ
