the graphics are a key part of the content and vibe of it imo… tbh another thing that is kind of outdated and boring is that main studio they use for the ABC news channel.

hmm ok well it doesn’t seem up to standard or cool enough for the flagship studio of a news channel. very claustrophobic and somewhat ugly if you kwim

Love the studios all over the country. Just time to update the graphics to match.
Studios are fine, graphics while not bad, are tired and due for a refresh.

Lots of new and different camera angles. Wide and slow zoom on ABC News Victoria tonight. Felt very similar to 7 News Melbourne.

I wasn’t talking about the openers… Throughout the bulletin last night on some occasions when there was a full screen OTS there was different angle wide shots and slow zoom ins. One even showed off the screen on the front of the desk. It was very good and dynamic.

Doesn’t 7 new also come from the same building as ABC Tasmania.
No, 7 is from another building in Campbell Street in Hobart. WIN and TDT are both in the ABC building however.
