I’ve noticed that an “ABC News Update is scheduled for 2:51-54am on ABC Entertains, is this new?

I think it’s the one that used to air at around 3am on ABC TV Plus before it became Entertains on channel 23 as ABC Family doesn’t have one

Very close, it’s technically the one that used to air on the ABC 3/ME space at that time of night so they could update the news in 90 seconds podcast, not the ABC 2 closedown one (which I believe was the same update anyway). Not sure why it’s still in use, surely they could rearrange the nachtprogram on the News Channel to fit it in there if in HAS to still go out linearly.

Bit of a weird live news cross to ABV from reporter Alexandra Alvaro this evening, with her face obscuring key imagery…
Some technical issues with the NSW 7pm bulletin tonight, wrong graphics or no graphics appearing, crosses being cut off prematurely etc

Last night’s ABC News Victoria (Saturday) with Isk was a mess at the end. Weather cut short before any forecasts for Melbourne. And a strange apology for it too.

The final ABC Late News of the year is Friday 12 December.
ridiculous that the late news doesn’t run in summer.

I posted the link late this afternoon.
Today is the first Friday of the month, however there was no Stateline special report on the 7pm bulletin, so it finished right on time at 7.30pm.
Same here! It’s a good decision.
