That’s a worry if people are going to The Guardian and the Daily Mail for news in those numbers.
Fairfax and News Ltd sources are good, but too expensive… the ABC site is the only true standout one for me. The Nine and Seven sites aren’t bad either.

Trying to think of something positive to say. Thinking. Thinking. Thinking. Can’t do it I’m afraid. Looks awful.
I agree. Terrible, and extremely hard to read.
Interesting. But yes, there is too much going on here and difficult to read.
I think it looks OK, it’s only the fake reflections on the floor that I don’t particularly like…
Yeah I congratulate them for trying something different but they are way too hard to read and the perspective and floor positioning of them just doesn’t suit.
really? it’s all pretty clear in those caps?
it’s a nice idea, very American, but looks a bit rushed.
There is too much going on for the average viewer.
it’s got the days, the temps, the icons and the rainfall, that’s fairly standard weather outlook info.
Understand… but I’m talking about way its presented. This information gets lost with the studio walk in (from the presenter) and the moving city background. The curved graphic also don’t make it easy on the eye.
Like I said, interesting take, but little too much going on.
Ah ok I see. Haven’t seen it moving yet.
Looks amazing. Agree it could do with some design work to make it easier to read. But it’s terrific. I reckon we’ll see more of this.
IMO, The floor reflection is too distracting
Darkening the floor reflections so it looks like reflection from a mat floor rather than a shiny floor would clean it up greatly.
It’s fancy, but not so functional. Too much colour and movement distracts from the information that needs to be conveyed.
NSW 7pm didn’t seem much different to me?
I heard the updated theme during the Victorian 7pm bulletin tonight.
Sounds great, great pacing and energy
