Lara Hyams is presenting Evening bulletins tonight.
It seems recently if someone is away sick or unavailable Lara is brought in to cover the Evening shift.
It’s because Lara’s already there for 7pm weather so it’s just easier to use Lara as a fill in and get Juanita to do weather on 7pm news.
Kathryn Robinson is presenting Mornings this week.
Joe O’Brien will be returning to Mornings on Monday 4 July.
And The Drum has been broadcast live at 6pm this week. 7.30 was live last night too.
Joe’s popped up doing the 12-3 shift today. Johanna Nicholson was on yesterday and Fauziah Ibrahim on Wednesday.
Quite funny, Nate Byrne nowhere to be seen for this weather throw so Tony stepped in to sort-of present?
I’m assuming the Melbourne Studios are now producing the reginal news bulletin at 12.30pm (Satudays) with Paul Higgins. Now looks to be pre recorded from Friday night.

ABC News channel is broadcasting live a commemorative service to mark the 75th Anniversary of Australian Peacekeeping at 10.30am AEST today, live from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
The service is also shown on ABC TV, live to the eastern states, and on delay in SA, NT and WA, at 10.30am local time.
