Hopefully it’s a temporary absense from air (it seems to be a gross overreaction; as others have said we don’t know if there have been other issues which haven’t been broadcast, but I think it would be unfair to assume there have been).

But here is the quote - ""Natasha Exelby is a casual contributor, not a staff member. She has been booked for occasional on-air shifts when needed, and also does other occasional shifts for the ABC News channel.
Contributors work out their shifts with managers on a per needs basis. Details of individuals’ shifts are confidential to them and not something we make public comment on.”

These graphics are so… basic?
The openers are a mess. I actually didn’t realise that they are showing the day and date in them and top stories, they slide through too fast
Must have contracted out this latest rebrand to the PRIME News department!!
Could have walked around in MediaHub and someone from WIN would have told them that sticking with old news graphics isn’t necessarily a bad thing

To be fair I’m not suggesting ABC would bring on something as horrendous as mappy … although in the last few hours it anything goes at Aunty’s!
I’m going to guess they are capping from a live stream with full screen enabled and their browser throwing up a message of ‘mash these buttons to exit full screen’
Did Sky design the graphic for The Business? Revolting. The haphazard implementation of this graphics package really diminishes what has been done well.

To avoid confusion, would be my guess for the ABC’s reasoning.
But it’s rather unusual though, they were rather quick to change the LCN name when the ABC1 > ABC and ABC3 > ABC ME branding changes happened.
